Kabi Catalano’s career has been dedicated to Utah’s nonprofit sector. Kabi loves to network, develop cross-sector collaborations, and connect diverse audiences to create communities where individuals, families, and communities can thrive.
Kabi comes to Utah Nonprofits Association after serving as executive director of Utah Community Builders, a program of the Salt Lake Chamber Foundation where she engaged Utah business leaders to solve for community issues impacting the state’s workforce. Previously Kabi has held leadership positions at Western Governors University, Neighborhood House, Make-A-Wish Utah, and Girl Scouts of Utah. Kabi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Washington, a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, and most recently completed the Young American Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. When she is not working, Kabi enjoys kayaking, farmers markets, and live music.
