Julie Chang joined UNA in May 2023 as the Manager of Programming. In her role, Julie is responsible for implementing UNA's advocacy and public policy strategy and overseeing all UNA training and events, including the UNA Credential Program. Julie believes in the power of community, service, and vulnerable connection. She has over 20 years of lived experience working and volunteering in the nonprofit sector. She earned her B.A. in Business Marketing at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new things, being surrounded by nature, and playing with her adopted cat, Talkeetna.
