Jill Anderson
CAPSA
Jill Anderson, CEO of CAPSA (Citizen Against Physical and Sexual Abuse), has dedicated her career to providing advocacy and support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Northern Utah. Jill started as a volunteer in 1993 and in 1997 became CAPSA’s Executive Director/CEO. Under her leadership, CAPSA has grown from a small one-home shelter to a leading domestic violence and sexual abuse support center in the state.
Jill received her Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and Masters in Business Administration from Southern Utah University. Jill has been recognized for her contributions to our community receiving Resident of the Year by the Herald Journal in 2013, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Utah State University’s Center for Women and Gender in 2016, and the Melvin C. Wilson Lifetime Achievement Award from The Utah Council on Victims of Crime.
