Jason Krause is a partner in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a member of the Firm's Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. He focuses primarily on the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their businesses, including structuring and negotiating various strategic and leveraged acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, minority investments, corporate governance and other general corporate matters. Jason received a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. Jason devotes his pro bono legal practice to representing non-profit entities and currently also serves on the board of directors of Tiny Tim’s Foundation for Kids.
