Creating and Presenting Effective Collaboration Proposals - “You want to do what, with whom?”

In an era of reduced funding and increased expectations, nonprofits must be more strategic and efficient. Collaboration is key to both of those attributes, and many grants and funding sources now require it. Collaborating with other agencies means working with people whose approaches may differ from your own. Learn how to explore those differences up front, so that they don’t interfere with the project. This workshop will teach you how to create and present collaborative projects that get funded.
Participants will learn how to:
• Maximize each other’s strengths and differences for collaboration
• Identify differences in approach and priorities, areas of possible misalignment or friction
• Manage differing expectations
• Establish a foundation of trust and understanding
• Channel your passion to present/apply for funding effectively
