Ogden Open Round Table: Engaging New Constituents: Designing Vivid Experiences

Jun 20, 2017 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Does your organization have a signature event for engaging new and current supporters, and how is it designed to be a memorable, stirring call to action? Whether it's a "point of entry" event like a tour or a breakfast, a simulation exercise, a student-run exhibit or a signature luncheon or gala, what works best in your pre-and post-planning, and how do you know the actual event day is a success?

Come share your successful ideas, and explore how to adapt fresh ideas to enliven your approach going forward.

When you register, please email the following to mtmigliorelli@gmail.com with the subject line, UNA Vivid Experiences:

  1. What are your burning questions about designing events that are vivid experiences that call your supporters to new levels of engagement?
  2. What's working well for you, and what key tools, resources are you willing to share so we can add them to our resource list & include in our discussions?

This event is open to any nonprofit staff or board member.

Session facilitator Mary T. Migliorelli brings several perspectives to this topic, from her career spanning corporate philanthropy & volunteerism, nonprofit fundraising, grant proposal writing, technology and intergenerational mentoring. She developed her unique style of graphic facilitation and visual mapping by conducting team training, strategic planning and leadership development programs at Litton Industries, Zions Bancorporation, The Fieldstone Foundation, and in her freelance work in career design and innovation.

Special thanks to our host Ogden-Weber Tech College.

This event will be held at the Union Building Rooms 107 & 108.
