UNA Credential in Volunteer Management

Despite all of the challenges and setbacks over the last few years, your organization is on the frontlines delivering critical services and aiding vulnerable populations. And it's not uncommon for your volunteers (if you have them) to be on the frontline of the frontlines. Volunteers deserve nurturing and thoughtful support so that they can continue to create lasting impacts on our communities. That's why we created the UNA Credential in Volunteer Management—to help you recruit volunteers, implement effective volunteer training, integrate volunteer management into overall planning and development, and more.

The UNA Credential provides a specific course of action for you to follow to understand and apply up-to-date best practices in volunteer management. You’ll receive exactly what you need—consultations, templates, and coaching—to attract, retain, and thank the volunteers that mean so much to your mission. Join UNA and Kellie Mieremet for this all-encompassing course in volunteer management.

This course is designed to provide you with tools for:
     • Integrating volunteer management into your organization's overall planning and development,
     •  Securing senior leadership support and resources for strong volunteer management practices,
     •  Developing and implement effective volunteer-related training organization-wide,
     •  Engaging and recognizing volunteers,
     •  Recruiting, tracking, and communicating with volunteers digitally,
     •  Demonstrating your commitment to sustainability to funders, stakeholders, and even your volunteers, and
     •  Proving your ability to lead your organization forward and contribute to your mission.
