KB Grants meets all of your nonprofit’s resource development needs.  At KB Grants, we believe that the key to success is building a strong relationship with our clients and developing partnerships.  We listen closely to understand your needs, vision, and services to help your organization succeed.

KB Grants specializes in working with small to medium-size nonprofits and government agencies. We analyze your organization’s mission, services, and financial profile to understand your funding needs and, in turn, to develop a strategic plan that includes creating an annual grant forecasting calendar, a case statement, and a body of supporting research.

KB Grants understands the varying complexity of grant applications and reporting requirements.  And, whatever the size or complexity, we ensure that your applications and reports meet your needs, are submitted by the deadlines, and meet the standards laid out by the funding agent.

Kathleen Bideaux (Kate), founder and managing member of KB Grants, has been designing, preparing, and submitting award-winning grant proposals and programs for nonprofits, government agencies, and local education institutions for more than seventeen years. Kate started her career as a school teacher researching best practices and writing grants to provide her students with the materials and experiences they needed to improve their outcomes.  As her success grew, her school district began giving her more responsibility and, eventually, created the position of Grant Specialist.  As Grant Specialist, Kate helped her school district and community partners secure more than $32 million in local, state and federal grants, many of which continue to receive funding today.  In 2015, Kate accepted a position as executive director for a local nonprofit where she was instrumental in almost tripling the size of its budgets in less than four years through government, corporate, and private foundation grants, community partnerships, and fundraising efforts.

Kate has presented at several regional and national conferences including Utah Afterschool NetworkUtah State Board of Education, High Schools That WorkCoalition of Community SchoolsU.S. Department of EducationNorthwest Regional Education Laboratories, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.  She has also received multiple awards for her innovation and collaborative efforts, including awards from United Way of Northern Utah, Ogden Police Department, Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce’s Partners in Education, Weber School District, and Nurture the Creative Mind.
