Utah Nonprofit Association serves the membership and prospective members of the organization, which is comprised of nonprofit organizations across Utah. Utah’s nonprofits employ almost 5.5% of Utah’s workforce, and as of 2011 (the last year for which statistics are available) Utah’s nonprofits generated $8 billion in annual revenues and held assets of $14 billion. Nonprofit Insight readers are industry professionals representing organizations that fit every size, shape and description. Close to 780 nonprofits and their staff have been members of the UNA for over 20 years.
Nonprofit Insight is published twice per year, in the spring and fall. Copies of Nonprofit Insight is printed and mailed to all members of UNA, and is available as a hand-out at major events and training seminars, while supplies last.

Magazine Wins Excellence in Publishing Awards
The UNA Nonprofit Insight magazine won the 2016 Hermes Platinum award for magazine excellence, with a nod towards concept, writing, and design. In addition, the magazine also won the 2016 Communicator Award of Excellence, which is the highest honor given to entries. Both the Hermes and Communicator Awards are international competitions that receive thousands of entries each year.
Winners of the Hermes Creative Awards is typically reflective of a list of "who's who" in the creative industry. Entries are judged on the creativity and quality of the presentation, and the competition had earned a reputation for accuracy, fairness and credibility.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Communicator Awards honors work that transcends innovation and craft- work that the judges feel is destined to make a lasting impact.
