Position Summary: Odyssey House is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician!

Primary Responsibilities: Job Duties:

* Assist in the maintenance, upkeep, and renovations, including HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and refuse removal.
* Assist in building code inspections and licensure compliance, including City, County, and State Fire and Health inspections and Joint Commission.
* All grounds maintenance, upkeep, and services.
* Reports to Director of Facilities. This position is non-exempt.

Desired Qualifications: Experience/Skills Required:

Preferred To Have: This position offers the right candidate a flexible work schedule in an environment of collaboration with other facilities managers at other locations. We seek a person with a passion for repairs and maintenance, yard maintenance, painting, and generally making our facility a pleasant place for our residents. Experience in repairs, plumbing, HVAC, yard and building maintenance, construction, and electrical work preferred. Position requires lifting and the ability to maneuver on ladders and in confined spaces.

Required:

* Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check
* Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* First Aid and CPR Certification (available at Odyssey House)
* Must comply with annual TB tests, flu, and Covid immunization
* Must meet employment eligibility
* Must be able to work variable shifts as needed

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., driving (or adequate alternate transportation), moderate physical activity at times.
