Position Summary: Odyssey House is seeking a Full-Time Shift Lead!

Primary Responsibilities: Functions of the Job:

* Observes and monitor clients' behavior and intervene based on schedule, individual client's treatment plan, and treatment community needs.
* Conducts urinary analysis drug screen collection when directed, following appropriate procedures.
* Responsible for ensuring that all assigned groups/meetings/activities are facilitated and documented and that observations/milieu interventions are added to client records/ feedback sheets during every shift (documentation must be completed the same day as service).
* Responsible for ensuring shift change feedback is completed and emailed to the treatment team each shift.
* Attend staff meetings and training when scheduled monthly.
* Mentoring/training part-time staff, including supporting with the onboarding of new hires
* Coordinates milieu treatment with counseling staff.
* Conduct bi-hourly head counts (follow up on clients who are responsible for headcount during the swing shift and perform the headcount on the graveyard shift)
* Transports clients to outside meetings and recreation groups, completing documentation as needed and following all Odyssey House transportation requirements/responsibilities.
* Ensures supervision/monitoring of clients and families during phone calls and visitation.
* Completes medication training and administers and documents clients taking medication.
* Conducts regular house checks, fire drills, and maintenance checks to ensure safety and security. Documents these checks and reports any concerns or problems that arise.
* Complete incident reports, per Odyssey House policy.
* Completes new clients' orientations, including person and baggage search, clothing logs, and room assignments/coordination.
* Provides one-on-one supervision of at-risk clients and follows through with protocol and directives from on-call clinical staff or Program Director.
* Oversees house cleaning and conducts house checks each shift.
* Acts as point of contact for part-time staff on shift and staff-on-call.
* Completes filing and other miscellaneous administrative work as assigned.
* Conduct behavioral groups and ensure services documentation is completed.
* Coordinate and ensure all behavioral groups and unattended businesses are resolved and feedback sent to the clinical team.
* Fill in for unavailable staff members as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Experience working with adults in a treatment setting preferred
* At least 21 years of age
* First Aid and CPR Certification (training provided if not certified)
* Must pass a criminal background check
* Must comply with annual TB tests; Flu, COVID-19, and other immunizations as required
* Must work scheduled shifts (will vary)
* 1 year of sobriety if in recovery
* Must meet employment eligibility
* Must be able to work variable shifts as needed

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., drive (or adequate alternate transportation), sit for prolonged periods, and perform light to moderate physical activity at times. Able to passively restrain residents without likely injury to self due to existing medical condition.
