Position Summary: Odyssey House is looking for a Full-Time Revenue Cycle Manager!

Primary Responsibilities: Functions of the Job:
* Manage the Revenue Cycle Department
* Manage accounts
* Manage and administer program policies and procedures
* Creates and analyzes contracts
* Develop and manage Revenue Cycle project dashboards, results, and benefits realization, track progress, and identify opportunities to accelerate implementation plans or create corrective plans as needed.
* Identify and generate proposals for potential projects to improve processes, cost to collect, and cash yield.
* Create and implement policies that ensure the accuracy of patient billing information.
* Supervise the Revenue Cycle Department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
* Tracking metrics, such as coding error rates, patient engagement, and billing turnaround times
* Implement policy shifts to reduce errors and improve patient outcomes
* Perform internal billing audits to ensure coding compliance, charge capture, and reimbursement based on medical record documentation consistent with payer regulations and guidelines
Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
* Excellent supervisory, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required
* Detailed knowledge of revenue cycle systems (IT, reporting, process flows)
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives and identify and prioritize issues to meet aggressive deadlines and organizational goals
* Experience working with automated mainframes, personal computers, and business software applications
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software
* Proven experience in healthcare billing
* Sound knowledge of health insurance providers
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
* Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., drive (or adequate alternate transportation), sit for prolonged periods, and perform light to moderate physical activity at times.
