The Headquarters Resettlement Department provides guidance and oversight for the domestic offices. The Salt Lake City officeresettles approximately 600refugees & asylees each year and has approximately 20 different programs to support refugees.This position reportsdirectlyto the Executive Directorand works in close coordination with other directors and program managers in the office.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Executive Director,theResettlementDirectoris responsible for primary oversight of the IRC in Salt Lake City’s direct services programs for new refugee arrivals including R&P,Matching Grant Employment Services, Extended Case Management, Health and Wellness and Education.Critical to this position is exercising leadership and coordination by instilling teamwork, communication, quality and effectiveness in IRC programs integrating services and programs to provide a seamless experience for clients particularly as it relates to case management, health, education, and employment services. The Resettlement Director serves on the senior leadership groupsupporting a wide variety of office management responsibilities including filling in for the Executive Director,as needed,and participating in leadership efforts on Strategic Action Planning.In addition, this position will assist in financial management of program budgets,andoversightof reporting for program areas. Key responsibilities include the leadership tostaff, ensuring proper execution of federal Resettlement & Placement (R&P), Extended Case Management (ECM),Matching Grant (MG) contracts, Utah Department of Health (UDOH) contracts and education programs to sustainand growprogramsthat aligns with the SLC office’s Strategic Action Planand assuringallprograms remain in compliance with donor expectationsandare properly implemented, meetingstated goals.
Primary Responsibilities: Ensure that programs comply with all contractual and reporting requirements, achieve required outcomes, provide quality services and meet the needs of our core refugee/asylee stakeholders, with special oversight of large contracts including R&P, ECM, MG, and others.

Serve as leader in the continuing development and implementation of data tracking systems across IRC Salt Lake City to ensure quality data collection across all programs; produce reports and impact data to provide insight to internal and external stakeholders on IRC’s impact.

In coordination with the Salt Lake City Finance department, ensure that programs maintain sound fiscal management and implement and comply with all HR policies and procedures.

Work with Executive Director and other leadership staff to complete reporting of required reports to IRC HQ, State Refugee Coordinator, State Refugee Health Coordinator and other donors/funders.
Desired Qualifications: Ensure clients are linked with the appropriate social service, employment, educational, health care and transitional income providers in a timely manner.

Ensure close programmatic linkages between all IRC programs and departments; proactively work to ensure consistent adherence to all compliance standards and other donor requirements across the Salt Lake City programs.

Support existing projects and new project design/program development that align with Outcomes and Evaluation Framework (OEF).

Identify and disseminate best practices for program development across Salt Lake City programs

Lead on programmatic outreach to new target populations and incorporating client voice into program services.

In coordination with the Executive Director and direct reports, implement and develop new programs aligned with the office vision and goals;

Work closely with the Development team to ensure sound program design, grant writing and grants management standards are met.

Work with Development, Finance and program staff to ensure all program budgets are monitored and managed effectively and program outcomes meet proposed goals.
BA in Human Service, Business, Non-Profit Management, Public Administration another related field. Graduate degree preferred.

Minimum of seven years of experience in non-profit management, program development and management and staff supervision required.

Demonstrated ability of fiscal management and reporting.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as public speaking.

Good organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to effectively work in a multi-cultural work environment.

Up to 10% travel may be required.
