Position Summary: Overview:

Youth Leaders will be responsible for planning & implementing activities for youth, ages 5-12, that responds to their individual needs & interests, that encourages them to develop friendships, work cooperatively, communicate effectively, & increase their self-image. Youth Leaders will offer classroom activities, team building & group activities, community-service projects, & outdoor recreational opportunities. They will be responsible for proper supervision & interaction with the youth, maintaining effective group management techniques, encouraging participation from all youth, & having fun!!

Desired Qualifications: Qualifications:

Must have/or obtain: Food Handlers Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification.
Must be 18 years of age & able to successfully pass a background check.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Willing to drive a 15 passenger van daily to transport children from school.
Must be able to effectively communicate with parents, youth, & co-workers.
Must possess at least three strong leadership qualities.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
Schedule:

Must have availability during after school hours; 2:00-5:30pm.
