Position Summary: Primary Function of Position
Increasing and managing the capacity for the placement of Unaccompanied Refugee Minors in foster homes. Supervising the recruitment, training, and licensing of foster homes and reviewing referrals for youth to be placed in those homes.

Work Environment
Work will be performed primarily inside and will occur in the office, in foster family homes, places of employment, educational institutions, and other locations as needed.
Physical Demands
Work requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods, to walk moderate distances, to drive, and occasionally to assist youth with physical activities such as carrying groceries or household supplies.
Driving is required in this position.
Position status and expected schedule
This position is exempt. The general schedule will consist of 40 hours to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 9:00 PM.
Primary Responsibilities: Major Position Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Foster Family Development Lead, the Foster Family Trainer, and the Foster Family Recruiter.
Work with supervisees to increase the quantity and quality of foster families available for placement.
Complete initial home studies for potential foster families including the narrative and home safety inspection.
Assess and overcome barriers to foster family licensure and placement.
Seek feedback, track data, and implement strategies to improve completion rates.
Review referrals on the online database for new youth and oversee the process for matching and placing with foster families.
Build capacity and structure for Level II and Level III Therapeutic foster homes.
Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience
Bachelors Degree in social work or related field or equivalent experience required.
Foster care experience, particularly concerning licensing requirements and family support preferred.
Background Screening Requirement
Must pass a national BCI/FBI background check.
Licenses, certifications and credentials
SSW or higher required, or at least one year of experience participating in the recruiting, training, licensing, and supervision of foster families.
Current Utah driver's license, proof of auto insurance with minimum policy liability limits of $50,000 per person and $100,000 per incdient, 21 years of age or older, a clean driving record, and ability to meet CCS vehicle safety requirements.
