Position Summary: Full-time, 40 hours per week position with the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) for an applicant who can support the NCSBS’s marketing strategy. Applicants should have experience coordinating marketing efforts through various channels including social media and other digital media. Applicants should be familiar with graphic design and understand layout and composition. Applicants should have strong writing skills and be able to compose both long and short copy.
Primary Responsibilities: - Participate in teams to develop marketing campaigns for NCSBS projects and programs.
- Develop marketing assets for campaigns.
- Create email marketing campaigns.
- Maintain the NCSBS website and social media channels.
- Pitch NCSBS-related stories to local and national media outlets.
- Conduct market research for NCSBS products and events.
- Compile sales reports and evaluate data.
- Coordinate a schedule with frequently changing priorities.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or other graphic design software preferred.
- Experience with social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok.
- Familiarity with Constant Contact or other email campaign software.
- Superior organization skills.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work with diverse team members.
- U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S.
