The Mental Wellness Alliance (MWA), a program of CONNECT, is a community-wide initiative which advocates to ensure that all residents in Summit County have sufficient access to mental health services and advances the strategic plan of the MWA.

Position Summary: The primary responsibility is to coordinate and convene the goals and objectives outlined in the strategic plan and work collaboratively with committee members to implement tactics aimed at improving outcomes on mental wellness.
The secondary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and implement all marketing efforts for CONNECT while collaborating with the marketing committee of the CONNECT Board of Directors and the Executive Director. This position is full-time, will report to the Executive Director, and will be based out of our Park City office but may allow for some remote-working flexibility.
Primary Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities
● Support committee chairs in coordinating, attending, and participating in meetings; communicate meeting times, agendas, accomplishments, and assigned tasks
● Assist the MWA and its committee members to create and facilitate volunteer recruitment plans and meet with the membership periodically; maintain a list of active members and member organizations; ensure that each committee has an assigned chair
● Provide technical assistance to all committees and the MWA to work effectively toward intended outcomes
● Attend local community partnership meetings, provider coordination meetings, and other local service-based meetings to increase visibility and increase interest in the MWA, as necessary
● Assist the MWA in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in its process, activities, and outcomes
● Ensure regular progress updates with Summit County Behavioral Health Executive Committee
● Manage communications calendar that includes the following: social media platforms, newsletter, press releases, and outreach KPCW and other local stations
● Maintain communications across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn with minimum posting requirements on each platform
● Update CONNECTSummitCounty.org event calendar, blog, and other website content
● Create and send one e-newsletter every other month
● Assist Development and Programming team with the creation of print and marketing
materials
● Assist the leadership team in the drafting of press releases
● Deliver a monthly report with statistics for each social media account and e-newsletters
sent
● Perform related duties as required.
Desired Qualifications: ● BA or BS in a business-related field
● Two+ years’ experience in managing community coalitions (preferred) ● Two+ years of marketing experience
