Organization's Mission: Project Reality is an out-patient treatment program committed to the prevention and Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) of Opiate Use Disorder for nearly 50 years. We are seeking a FT Mental Health Therapist, who also has experience with or is interested in working with underserved and vulnerable populations. We have a holistic approach to substance abuse treatment, which includes primary care at our two clinics in SLC and Murray, UT. Students in social work/mental health/addiction/nursing fields are encouraged to apply!

Position Summary: Our Mental Health Therapists/Counselors have scope to practice the evidence-based treatments they believe best for each patient!
Primary Responsibilities: The position involves a wide spectrum of services including:
Intake assessments
Diagnosis and ongoing treatment planning
Individual and group counseling
Discharge planning
Coordinating with partnered agencies to assist patients in continued care
Attending staff meetings and individual/group supervision
Desired Qualifications: Qualifications Required:
Active UT license (CMCH, LCSW, LMFT)
Master's degree in mental health field
Works well in a team w/strong organizational and communication skills
High level of professionalism
Willingness to learn best practices of care
Interest in working with vulnerable populations
Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills required. G-Suite a plus
Project Reality is a Drug Free Workplace
Ability to pass/maintain a BCI Clearance Check
Applicants must have one of the following active Utah licenses in order to be considered for this position: LCSW, CMCH, LMFT.
