Position Summary: The AmeriCorps member in this role will serve with Project Success Coalition in the Ogden area. This member will work to build capacity around leadership and operating systems, including developing a plan to support the growth of Project Success and building a social media presence for the coalition. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate an Academic (afterschool, summer school) program
Develop Agency Policies & Procedures
Plan and schedule special events along with developing a planning toolkit
Develop databases from past events
Develop/refine our social media platforms
Develop job training modules; Develop onboarding for new hires; Coordinate training Schedules
Desired Qualifications: 18 or older
High school diploma or GED
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience planning and working on events
Ability to work well with a broad range of community members
Familiar with social media platforms
Ability to develop and understand data
Willing to undergo a background check
Benefits / Why Work With Us: This is an AmeriCorps position. AmeriCorps is a unique service opportunity. AmeriCorps members complete a term of service from December, 2022 through November 2023. Members will serve a minimum of 900 hours during this time, approximately 19 hours per week. AmeriCorps members will receive a living allowance of $10,500 during their term of service. This living allowance will be paid bi-weekly. Additionally, upon successful completion of a term of service, AmeriCorps members will receive an education award of $3,172.
