Position Summary: ANCA seeks a part-time Office Assistant to oversee the organization’s books, payroll and office management.
Primary Responsibilities: BOOKKEEPING FUNCTIONS (50%)
Maintain the ANCA books utilizing QuickBooks software. Specific duties include:
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing, reconciling, and reporting
• Monthly employee payroll processing as well as remitting and reconciling taxes and benefits
• Federal and state quarterly tax filings and reporting

Provide the FT Staff with administrative support. Specific duties include:
• Process the ANCA mail and publication orders
• Manage Little Green Light membership/donor database entries and forms
• Create and send acknowledgment correspondence
• Attend staff meetings and stays current on existing and future activities
• Manage the ANCA Job Board
• Assist Executive Director when necessary
Desired Qualifications: • Word, Excel and accounting software experience preferred
• Detail oriented and organized
• Experience working in a non-profit setting
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally
