Organization's Mission: Catholic Community Services of Utah provides help and creates hope for thousands of people of all beliefs who are most in need in our community through Migration and Refugee Services and Basic Needs Programs.
Position Summary: Manage, develop, and coordinate the Health Services and Preferred Communities programs, which includes supervising the Health Screening Coordinator, Mental Health Coordinator, Health Promotion Coordinator, Preferred Communities staff, and interpreters. Develop the Health Services Program to provide the best services possible to clients with a focus on self-sufficiency in collaboration with other Refugee Resettlement staff. Utilize all available funding and seek additional funding in coordination with the Program Manager. Work with government agencies, community service providers, and partner agencies. Ensure timely and accurate record keeping and reporting for all Health Services.
Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate all health services for the Refugee Resettlement Program from date of arrival throughout the service period.
2. Work with the Refugee Resettlement Program Manager to develop the Health Services Program, train and supervise staff, and delegate responsibilities appropriately as refugee client numbers fluctuate and as funding opportunities change over time.
3. Supervise the Health Screening Coordinator, making sure refugee clients get the initial health screening within 30 days of arrival and all other benchmarks are met.

4. Coordinate healthcare-specific public transportation orientation if necessary.
5. Supervise the Mental Health Coordinator, helping develop the program to meet client needs and meet all grant benchmarks.
6. Supervise the Health Promotion Coordinator to assure our refugee clients receive clinic tours and participate in the Navigating the Healthcare System classes.
7. Supervise the Preferred Communities grant and all Preferred Communities staff, ensuring the provision of intensive case management and wellness and other support groups.
8. Ensure monthly billings are completed on time and correctly.
9. Facilitate regular health team meetings, inter-staff meetings as needed, and one-on-one meetings with direct reports at least bi-weekly.
10. Coordinate and manage the grants associated with providing health and interpreting services.
11. Manage reports and documents associated with health services ensuring compliance with deadlines and other compliance regulations.
12. Assist program manager in auditing case files. Ensure paperwork is complete and appropriately filed.
13. Coordinate and manage all the medical reportable conditions directly with the department of health.

15. Create, revise, and regularly review to keep up to date a logic model and policy and procedures for the Health Services Team and each position on the team.
16. Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
Desired Qualifications: This position is in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
1. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
2. This role includes driving locally to meetings.

8. Must maintain confidentiality regarding client’s information.
9. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
10. Proficiency in computer skills to complete documentation, scheduling and e-mail in Outlook.
Education, Training and/or Experience
1. MPA or MPH from an accredited university preferred or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in program management and development, including grant management, preferred.
3. Supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Background Screening requirement
1. Must pass a national BCI/FBI background check.
Licenses, certifications and credentials
1. Current Utah driver’s license, proof of auto insurance with minimum policy liability limits of $50,000 per person and $100,000 per incident, 21 years of age or older, a clean driving record, and ability to meet CCS vehicle safety requirements.Position status and expected schedule

1. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
2. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
