Position Summary: The Utah Art Alliance’s ‘Dreamscapes’ is an immersive art experience founded in Salt Lake City. We are opening our largest exhibit to date in Sandy, Utah and are looking to hire a Dreamer! The goal of a Dreamer is to ensure that every person walking through our doors has the best experience possible, through maintaining the highest level of customer service and a fun, enthusiastic, safe, and inspiring environment for all. While you may be asked to participate in some artistic aspects of Dreamscapes, a large part of this position is customer-service-based.

Dreamscapes is a project of the Utah Arts Alliance, Utah nonprofit with a mission to foster the arts in all forms in order to create an aware, empowered, and connected community that changes the way you experience art. Dreamscapes is Utah’s first environmentally sustainable immersive art attraction in the heart of Salt Lake City!
Primary Responsibilities: Greet Dreamscapes guests in a pleasant, upbeat manner consistent with the Dreamscapes “vibe”.
Excellent customer service and interaction, including assisting with photos, guiding, answering questions, engaging the story elements of the installation, relaying rules, making suggestions, problem solving.
Answer to Shift Lead while on shift and Dreamscapes Manager overall.
Assists with customer flow.
Keep exhibit clean and sanitary at all times by following the in-house cleaning checklist.
Run the Box Office for tickets sales and specials.
Answer incoming phone calls pleasantly, giving clear information and helping with any questions or problems.
Walk through exhibits periodically, sprays disinfectants, and reports damaged, missing or malfunctioning elements of the installation.
Ensures that customers are following Dreamscape policies; i.e no climbing on exhibits, masks on and above their noses, etc.
Replace, stock and update interactive elements in exhibits.
Clean, tidy and maintain the lobby, boutique and other public areas.
Upon request, take pictures and create content for the Marketing Department.

Highschool diploma or equivalent
A passion in the Arts or Humanities
A background in customer service
Bi-lingual (preferred not required)
Event or Venue experience preferred
Keen attention to detail
A knack for assessing a situation to deliver the right message at the right time
Excellent written and verbal communications
Have a friendly and positive attitude
Ability to work with a team, but can also work independently
Critical thinking - problem solving skills
