Organization's Mission: Provide mobile dental, vision and hearing services to low income and at risk seniors
Organization's Programs and Services: Mobiel Dental, Mobile Vision and Hearing Services
What Can this Position offer the Applicant?: Community members with interest and passion in helping at risk seniors. Back ground in operations, HR and fundraising helpful.
Organization's Race, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Statement and Work: We serve seniors (age 55 and older) across all minority, at risk groups and identities. All age which ads to or amplifies already existing inequities.
Overall Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per quarter
Position Summary: Serve on the governing board of Senior Charity Care. Help guide and focus the organization in meeting its mission of serving seniors. The board meets once a quarter and members serve on one of three subcommittees (Finance, PR and Communications, Operations)
