Organization's Mission: Provide a supportive environment where adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) can rebuild their self-respect, dignity, and abilities through education, productive work, and meaningful relationships. We do this by helping Members complete educational goals, develop necessary work skills in order to return to productive employment in the community, and where needed, help Members find and secure affordable housing.

Organization's Programs and Services: An individual with mental illness can have difficulties completing his or her education within mainstream education systems, which is why Alliance House helps its members complete various levels of education, from a high school diploma to a college degree.
The Alliance House employment program supports members in finding employment in the community through our three employment programs: transitional, supported and independent.
The Alliance House transitional housing program provides subsidized independent housing to qualified members, particularly those who are homeless.

Meeting Times: Lunch and evenings
Overall Time Commitment: 5 hours monthly

Position Summary: 3 year board commitment. Meetings once a month on the third Tuesdays. Assist with the philanthropic and fundraising efforts of the organization. Support as a liaison for the education, employment, and housing programs.
