We are seeking a healthcare provider with oncology experience (MD preferred, will also consider PA or NP) willing to make a 4 year commitment to serve on the board of directors of Camp Hobe'.

  • Meeting Times: usually in the evening (6-8P), although annual retreat and conference call times vary
  • Meeting Location: Salt Lake City. Usually meet at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, on the UU campus
  • Overall Time Commitment: 1-3 hours per week, varies depending on board member time and interest

  • What Can this Board Position offer the Applicant?: Collegial atmosphere with others who genuinely love what they do. Our team works hard and we also have fun with each other. Plus we get to make kids with cancer (and their siblings) SMILE - what could be better? Board members get a super cool originally designed T-shirt each year with the camp's theme on it.
  • Application Process/Instructions: We have a formal nomination form that a current board member will review with the applicant in a one-on-one interview. Once this form is completed, we also need the applicant's current CV/resume and 3 personal references. Board nominees are usually voted in each February at our annual meeting.
