Position Summary: House of Hope (HOH), a local nonprofit, empowers women, strengthens families, and promotes recovery in our community. As Utah’s oldest treatment center, we have a long legacy of employing staff who are dedicated to the mission of spreading hope, nurturing healing, and encouraging personal growth in our colleagues, our clients, and our organization. We’re in search of reliable staff who are looking for a stable position during the weekday to assist women living at House of Hope. This part-time Client Services Aide works with women new in recovery and sees the challenges of mothers as they improve their lives for themselves and their children. The purpose of this role is to help meet client needs as they work towards their goals. This person will also be responsible for running the Client Services office. This is a great opportunity for those seeking experience working with women, families, and nonprofit organizations in the Human Services sector. Due to licensing and supervision requirements, this position is open to female applicants only.
Primary Responsibilities: The successful House of Hope applicant will:
--Work directly with our recovery clients
--Assist clients to make business phone calls
--Keep records, filing electronic and hard copies
--Assist clients with drug screenings
--Complete special projects for the program and possess a teamwork mentality

--Willingness to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans and maintain current Utah driver’s license and a good driving record
--Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
--Able to climb stairs and lift 40-50 pounds, on occasion
--Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Apple iPad is a plus

Education Required:
--High school diploma or GED equivalency

--PART-TIME (approximately 28 hours/week)
--Monday through Friday, generally between the hours of 12:30pm and 6:00pm
--Additional hours may be available to help cover time-off requests

Agency Requirements:
--This is a non-smoking work site
--Must be 21+ years old
--Must be able to pass background check and drug test
--If in recovery, must have at least two years of sobriety
--Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and be willing to be seasonally vaccinated against the flu
--Must have personal reliable transportation and UT driver’s license
