Clinical Supervisor: Youth Program Manager and contracted LCSW Clinical Supervisor

HOURS: Part-time or Full-time

Clinical Therapist is also expected to stay current with required clinical licensure and best practices for providing victim advocacy, which includes a minimum of 16 hours required victim advocacy training (and must adhere to licensure requirement for ethics CEUs).

Primary Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY/Duties:

· Provide individual therapy with primary and secondary survivor clients. This includes an in-take, assessment of mental health concerns, written goals and a treatment plan;

· Facilitate trauma-recovery focused groups;

· Facilitate groups that deal with other dual concerns: substance abuse, self-esteem, decision making, grief and grieving, communication, etc.;

· Document interactions with clients and groups and keep a roll for all groups provided;

· Be an active member in partnership with community agencies that provide services and support client recovery;

· Attend and support team staffings, either at outreach or shelter;

· Will be available to in-house staff for consultation;

· Can mentor new advocates and staff, when appropriate.
Desired Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

o LCSW licensure (or MSW-CSW, CMHC, ACMHC), continuing education and experience in areas of domestic and sexual violence; excellent organization, communication, and written documentation skills; and independent judgment to adapt and apply clinical knowledge to specific situations.
