Job Summary: Position Title: Community Health Services COVID-19 Project Coordinator

Start Date: Immediate Hire – July 2020

End Date: This is a temporary position through January 31, 2021, with the possibility for extension depending on project funding.

Position Description:

The Community Health Services COVID-19 Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of Community Health Worker (CHW) COVID-19 emergency response projects through the Utah Healthcare Corps (UHC), a direct service program of the Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH).

This position will support AUCH in hiring, training, and deploying a team of CHWs in Weber, Washington, Salt Lake, and Utah counties in partnership with local health centers and Intermountain Healthcare in each geography to help address social determinant of health (SDOH) needs among COVID-19 positive clients, and conduct outreach and disease prevention education to high-risk individuals in ethnic communities between August 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, with the possibility of extending the project period, funding dependent, beyond the original project deadline.
Primary Responsibilities: Manage and provide support to the CHW COVID-19 teams
Serve as the COVID-19 projects point of contact
Represent AUCH at stakeholder meetings
Provide project management support by maintaining trackers and developing project processes as needed
Lead project data collection and analysis
Compile source documentation for, and draft, project reports and invoice requests
Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications: The following requirements must be met to be considered for the program:

Familiarity with CHW work in Utah, experience as a CHW highly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in related/applicable field required (related experience will be considered in substitution for academic attainment)
Written and oral fluency in English required, Spanish highly desired
Willingness to be present on-site at designated COVID-19 testing locations
Reliable transportation
Ability to work remotely and access to a reliable internet connection
Experience in program/project coordination or management preferred
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team player
High level of proactivity and self-motivation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to express ideas clearly and logically
Ability to think critically and anticipate next steps
Ability to plan, coordinate, prioritize, and expedite work projects
Flexibility to respond to a variety of requests/needs/issues simultaneously
Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Compensation Type: Hourly wages
Hourly Wage Minimum: $10/hour
Hourly Wage Maximum: $34/hour
