Job Summary: Utah Community Action is accepting applications for a Weatherization Purchasing Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for sourcing equipment goods and services from contractors and vendors and supervising warehouse staff. This is a full time, salaried position. Typical schedule 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of construction experience much of which should be in purchasing is required of this position

Bachelor degree or certification from a technical school, 5 years construction purchasing experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, and CDL license preferred.
Primary Responsibilities: Job responsibilities:

Arrange bids and RFP's with contractors and vendors annually.
Negotiate contract terms with vendors and contractors annually.
Monitor and update contractor files.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Evaluate contractor and vendor performance to ensure contract terms are met.
Coordinate assigned projects with contractors and vendors.
Evaluate contractor performance prior to payment is authorized.
Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance policies.
Implement and monitor inventory database.
Oversee daily operations of warehouse and inventory staff.
Ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
Oversee the distribute of tools and supplies as needed.
Oversee the vehicle fleet management.
Ability to use software programs used in weatherization program operations.
Valid Utah driver's license and current insurance.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
