Job Description: Are you looking for a part time opportunity to expand your therapeutic skills working with a community of women? Would you like to give a year or more to gaining extensive hands on experience in substance use disorders and women’s behavioral health? House of Hope, established in 1946, for the treatment of addiction disorders and behavioral health services for women and their families is actively seeking a part-time therapist on our Provo team.

-Walk women through every aspect of treatment including assessment, treatment planning, treatment review, crisis management, discharge planning, and closure.
-Gain experience in collaborative care with multiple organizations and systems to promote the well-being of women new in recovery.
-Work on a team where everyone’s opinion and experience is valued in a peaceful setting near Slate Canyon
-Have a small caseload of 8 women that you can work with intensively over several months at an accelerated pace since they reside in the facility with their small children.
-Open to learning new methods, sharing knowledge with other therapists, able to seek feedback for professional growth.

We are looking for someone who:
-Has a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC.
-Will consider CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT licenses with experience.
-Is able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and in writing,
-Is adept at utilizing standard computer programs and basic documentation processes.
-Has experience in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma informed mental health care
-Is comfortable working with women who have experienced trauma and may be in distress.
-Will do 16 hours of direct care per week in group and individual treatment sessions.
-Most importantly, has a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery.

Salary Range: $19-24/hour, DOE, Will reimburse mileage and clinical licensure fees, 401(k) after 1 year, dollar for dollar match up to 5%, outside training & conferences reimbursed based on years with HOH, additional payment for on-call work at $150/week. (PLEASE NOTE: HOH pays same hourly rate for all work--no reduction for documentation, no-shows, training or meetings, so income is reliable).

Hours: M-F, 8:30-5 pm, Days/Hours: 24-32 hours a week, usually 8:30-1 pm, until 4 pm Wed., req. training 2nd Tues. of each month 2-4 pm, other hours or evening work based on group volume/census/expertise of clinician.
Agency Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-This is a non-smoking worksite.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 3 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.
