Salary: $13/hour
Job Description: Work in an office where co-workers care about each other, the work we do, and the clients we serve. Accurately enter client information into agency databases and serve as our front desk receptionist. The data is used to generate program reports and external reports related to funding client services. Volunteers of America, Utah is a nonprofit agency with more than 200 paid staff who serve more than 10,000 people each year through programs addressing homelessness, addiction, and mental illness.
• Accurate and timely entry of client information into databases: UWITS, HMIS.
• Maintain and organize paperwork and keep client data secure.
• Receptionist for the administrative office - answering phones and greeting visitors.
• Respond to data requests and evaluate data quality.
• Complete record requests for confidential information; adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist the HR and Accounting staff as needed
• Supervise several part-time volunteers.
• Experience entering information into databases.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Professionally greet visitors and answer phone calls from the public, clients, and staff.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Two years of office experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., $13 per hour
