Job Description: This position supervises clients recovering from alcohol/substance use disorder at one of our residential facilities for women and young children. Manager ensures client safety and adherence to program policies. Must monitor facility functioning, complete reports, maintain order, run conflict resolution groups and generally offer support and teach basic life skills to residents. We are especially seeking mature, reliable staff with good communication skills who value making a difference in the lives of families in our community. Preference will be given to individuals who have had experience working with mothers and children in a direct care setting and/or have experience working in a treatment program specializing in the area of alcohol/drug recovery. This is a great opportunity for those seeking further experience in the social services field.

Job Requirements:
-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
-Open to FEMALE applicants only due to the nature of licensing regulations and job duties.
-Must understand professional ethics and boundaries in the human service field
-Ensures client safety and adherence to program policies
-Competent in following daily schedule
-Monitor facility functioning
-Run conflict resolution groups
-Must be able to attend a mandatory staff meeting and training the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month from 2-4 pm as well as manager meetings, no exceptions.
-Good basic computer skills, writing ability and good phone skills.
-Competent problem solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
-Strong communication skills
-Complete detailed reports in a timely manner

Wage: $13/hour, Non-exempt, 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.
Hours: Up to 35-38 hours/week, may need to work some holidays, new staff are required to work various days and times at 4 different facilities for first 8 shifts for training purposes. The hours refer to Monday-Friday from 3:30pm to 10:30pm. In addition, House Managers are required to work at least one weekend shift, which is from 8:30am-3:30pm or 3:30pm to 10:30pm Saturday or Sunday.

Agency Requirements:
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 3 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.
-Have up-to-date TB test
-CPR/ First Aid certification
