Job Description: The mission of the Clinical Department is to provide affordable mental health services that foster hope, healing, and resilience in individuals, couples, and families. In this position, you will provide direct psychotherapy with English or Spanish speaking clients. Family Support Center is a trauma informed agency providing services to children, adults and families using trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities.
Requirements:
• 20+ Years of Age
• Department of Human Services Background Check (Finger Prints Required)
• CPR & First Aid Certification (To Take Once Hired)
• TB Test (To Take Once Hired)
• MSW or Equivalent Degree
Duties:
• Perform individual, family, and group therapy sessions in English and/or Spanish.
• Perform assessments, develop diagnosis, treatment plans and treatment reviews and prepare written client reports.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Coordinate cases with other agencies, providing appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Maintain clinical records and statistical measurements as determined by Clinical Director. Prepare reports as requested.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs as required.
• Meet all continuing education or other requirements necessary to maintain a good professional standing and Domestic Violence certification.
• Adhere to all standards, ethics, and professional practice established by the clinician’s professional discipline.
• Plan, promote and implement parenting and other classes as assigned by the Clinical Director.
• Serve as telephone therapist for the “on call” rotation with other professional staff, as directed by the Clinical Director if full-time.
• Answer clinical calls throughout the time on shift when not with clients (full-time clinicians only).
• Conduct public outreach presentations as requested by the Clinical Director.
• Full-time clinical caseload assures a minimum of 22 face-to-face client contacts per week. Part-time caseload assures a minimum of 10 face-to-face client contacts per week.
• Maintain state licensure requirements and provide all updated licenses and training/CEU documentation to the Clinical Director and Human Resources.
• Occasionally collect client fees, give receipts and turn money in to Reception Support Specialist weekly.
• CSW’s meet with Clinical Director or assigned supervisor for supervision.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Committed to the mission of the Family Support Center
• Ability to maintain detailed records and confidential information
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English (Preferred)
Additional Comments:
• Meet and greet clients
• Travel to clinical meetings and appointments as requested
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email for reports
• Engage in play therapy with younger clients
• Provide a therapeutic alliance with clients
• Conduct group meetings and classes (i.e. Parent Education or Anger Management)

Status: Fulltime (22 Face-to-face client hours) Part-time is 10 face-to-face hours
