Job Description: House of Hope is excited to announce an opening for a licensed therapist seeking extra income and experience doing substance use disorders and mental health assessments for women seeking treatment!
House of Hope has opened another great position on our clinical team for a therapist who enjoys engaging with clients in the assessment and evaluation process as the first step in getting treatment for substance use disorders and behavioral health. See if these primary duties match your interests and experience:
-Helping vulnerable, at-risk clients feel comfortable and safe enough to engage in the assessment process.
-Conduct clinical interviews with women seeking treatment in 60-90 minutes.
-Spend 1-2 hours compiling information for each evaluation and write a concise, professional assessment using our template.
-Collaborate with a clinical team to determine best treatment recommendations and refer each client for follow-up.
-Gathering information for press releases, client stories, annual reports, etc.
-Optional: Assist in group therapy to fill in for other clinicians in am or pm hours, if desired.
-Optional: May assist in completing assessments for young children as needed if experienced in children’s mental health.

We are looking for someone who:
-Has a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC.
-Will consider CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT licenses if experienced in assessment process.
-Is Able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and in writing,
-Is Adept at utilizing standard computer programs and basic documentation processes.
-Has experience in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and general diagnosing of adult clients.
-Is comfortable working with women who have experienced trauma and may be in distress.
--Most importantly, has a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery.

Wage: $25-35/hour, DOE. 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available for employees, or contracting option is available with own insurance.

Hours: 6-15 hours/week, between 9am-7 pm, you can set schedule based on need and number of assessments per week; (each assessment requires approximately 2-4 hours to complete).

Agency Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-This is a non-smoking worksite.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 3 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.

House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing addiction recovery and behavioral health services to help women rebuild their lives and strengthen their families in seven facilities in SLC and Provo.
