Job Description: Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills while expanding your working experience within a strong community of women? Are you committed to a strengths-based, solution-focused model of trauma-informed care for women in substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health treatment? House of Hope, established in 1946, for the treatment of addiction disorders and behavioral health services for women and their families, is actively seeking a full-time therapist on our SLC team.

-Walk women through every aspect of treatment including assessment, treatment planning, treatment review, crisis management, discharge planning, and closure.
-Gain experience in collaborative care with multiple organizations and systems to promote the well-being of women new in recovery.
-Work for an organization where everyone’s opinion and experience is valued on a dynamic team of diverse staff
-Have a caseload of 10-12 women that you can work with intensively over several months at an accelerated pace since most reside in the facility with their small children, in the women’s program or in outpatient (3-5 days a week).
-Open to learning new methods, sharing knowledge with other therapists, able to seek feedback for professional growth.
-Special training opportunities and financial increases for clinicians who are fully licensed and able to supervise!

We are looking for someone who:
-Has a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC.
-Will consider CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT licenses with experience.
-Is able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and in writing,
-Is adept at utilizing standard computer programs and basic documentation processes.
-Has experience in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma informed mental health care
-Is comfortable working with women who have experienced trauma and may be in distress.
-Will do 50-60% direct care per week in group and individual treatment sessions.
-Most importantly, has a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery.

Salary Range: $18-22/hour, DOE, with full benefits package including health insurance, dental, 2x salary life insurance, 30+ days off a year for holidays, vacation, sick; licensure renewal fees paid, paid training, 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available, additional weekly stipend for on-call work. (GOOD NEWS! HOH pays same hourly rate for all work--no reduction for documentation, no-shows, training or meetings, so income is reliable).

Hours: M-F, 8:30-5 pm, other hours or evening work based on group volume/census/expertise of clinician.
Agency Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-This is a non-smoking worksite.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 3 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.

House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing addiction recovery and behavioral health services to help women rebuild their lives and strengthen their families in seven facilities in SLC and Provo.
