We are currently seeking to hire a part time Social Work Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about helping to serve our organization and patients. The clinical supervisor will review and assess client treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals, as well as review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care. The clinical supervisor will promote the development of counseling skills and approaches through evaluations and assessments, case staffing, treatment planning, and intervention assistance. The clinical supervisor is also responsible for addressing legal and ethical issues within mental health and substance abuse counseling. Clinical supervisors track documentation quality and record-keeping for organizational and administrative purposes.

• Providing leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice.
• Providing leadership, supervision and support to the clinical staff in the provision of clinical/care support services in a professional manner.
• Developing and maintaining good collaborative working relationships and channels of communication with members of the clinical teams including all ancillary departments.
• Monitoring, evaluating, and correcting staff performance relating to care/clinical practice and assisting the Clinical Director and all clinical program managers in raising the standards of practice.
• Reporting clinician successes and deficiencies to the Clinical Director through monthly reporting.

Education and Experience:
• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a master of social work
• Four years of post-graduate experience in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment
• Possession of a license as a licensed clinical social worker from the state board to practice in the state of Utah.
• We would prefer:
o Certification as substance abuse counselor.
