Salary: $19.59/hour
Job Description: Job Summary:
Coordinate and ensure compliance with the health and dental needs of Head Start children in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and the Systems Development and Procedures Manual.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of head start standards as they pertain to health
• Computer skills
• Ability to communicate with and relate to diverse cultures or groups
• Must have knowledge of public health, nursing, health education, maternal and child health, or health administration
• Must have experience in supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL/MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Requires occasional light to moderate lifting and carrying (up to 45 lbs)
• In cases of emergency, may have to lift over 45 pounds
• Could require simple grasping
• Walking, standing or sitting for long periods of time
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to operate office equipment
• Must be able to see and hear with or without an aid
• May be required to work long or irregular hours
• Must have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English, and count

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Education or closely related degree
• Four years full-time, paid experience in public health, nursing, health education, maternal child health or health administration.
• Supervisory Experience
