Compensation Type: Hourly wages
Hourly Wage Minimum: $18/hour
Hourly Wage Maximum: $20/hour
Salary Minimum: $20,000
Salary Maximum: $25,000
Job Summary: RDT is seeking an individual to work closely with its administrative staff including: P. R. Marketing, Development, Booking and Artistic Directors to assist in helping the company achieve its artistic mission. The part-time position is for 20-25 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities: • Office Administration: phone and reception; mail distribution; coordination of volunteers; space reservation/scheduling with S.L County; management of RDT Archive; booking assistant; maintain communication with State, County, and City Boards, the community, K-12th grade schools, local arts groups, donors, and public institutions; assist with performance events and galas; assist with any needs of the Artistic Directors.
• RDT Dance Center On Broadway: accounting, communication, marketing
• Other Duties
o Audience Development: assist P.R. Marketing Director in expanding audiences through group sales, research, and communication with potential new audiences; assist in organizing pre- and post-concert events and networking opportunities.
o Development: assist Development Director in researching and tracking grant deadlines and fundraising campaigns; maintaining donor database, stewardship and communications, and filing.
Desired Qualifications: Desired Qualifications:
• Some college or equivalent work experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Word. Experience with Wordpress and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage various complex projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrate a willingness to adapt quickly in a changing environment while maintaining effectiveness and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong collaborative skills
