Job Summary: Utah Community Action of Salt Lake City, UT is seeking to hire a full time Crew person to work in our Weatherization Program. This position is responsible for installing energy efficient upgrades on approved homes recommended by home energy audits and work orders. Do you have residential construction experience? This Installation Crew Person position earns a competitive wage of $16.67 $18.55/hour based on experience and credentials. Primary Responsibilities: WORK SCHEDULE

Typical work schedule 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. No weekend or evening hours required. Located in Salt Lake City.

Desired Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREW PERSON

High school diploma, GED.
2 years of residential construction experience (experience can include insulation, framing, remodeling or other related fields).
Must be able to handle and work with cellulose and fiberglass;
Must have good carpentry skills and knowledge of minor repairs and insulation of structures;
Knowledge of basic construction work procedures;
Demonstrated aptitude for learning and performing work procedures in insulating structures and minor home repair;
Maintenance knowledge of tools and equipment;
Familiarity with weatherization products and their use.

Preferred education and experience:

Bachelor degree or certification from a technical school.
CDL license.
