Position Summary

Responsible for sanitizing, loading items into containers, labeling items appropriately, delivering and disbursing food once a week to our virtual Head Start and Early Head Start children. Accountable for performing final checks for defective items, ensure all deliver items make it to the appropriate sites, and distribute and collect all necessary paperwork from sites for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Assist the Kitchen Manager with food preparation, food quality, and inventory. Responsible for disbursing food at designated sites and picking up dirties. Other essential day-to-day duties include but are not limited to, complying with safety and cleaning standards, compliance of CACFP standards, food and sanitation, and health department standards.

Desired Qualifications: Required education and experience

High School diploma or GED
Current Food Handlers
Preferred education and experience

2-3 years of experience working in a kitchen

Position Details

Location: Salt Lake County

Start date: Contingent on availability

Compensation: $15/hour

Status: Non-exempt, Part-Time, Seasonal (until June 1st)
