Job Summary: The Center for Women & Children in Crisis has a position available for Day/Night Manager Assistant.

Day/Night Manager Assistant provides supervision and care for residents in a domestic violence shelter in Utah County. They interact with residents in a variety of situations and oversee the function and overall safety of the shelter and residents. Assistants should have good interpersonal skills, be able to prioritize tasks, be proactive and take direction well. Assistant works under the direction of Shelter Director.

Part-Time, 18-30 hours per week
Must be willing to work overnight shifts (usually 1 per week)
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays (share responsibility with other NM’s)
Must be willing to work ½ days shifts as needed (can work around school and other schedules if possible)
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Ability to work with little supervision
Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities:

Follow protocol and policies at all times
Attend trainings as required by DHS
Maintain confidentiality of callers, residents, and their children
Maintain professional boundaries with staff, residents, and children
Answer 24-hour hotline and provide resources including crisis intervention
Safety planning with callers and residents as needed
Complete new resident intake and other related forms as required
Record and compile statistics as required
Assist residents with daily needs
Work well with a diverse group of individuals and families
Ability to handle crisis situations and assess needs efficiently
Ensure safety of residents and center at all times
Assist in the care and maintenance of the shelter
Perform related duties as required and/or deemed necessary by management

Compensation Type: Hourly wages
Hourly Wage Minimum: $12/hour
Hourly Wage Maximum: $14/hour
Salary Minimum: This is an hourly wage position.
