Utah Community Action is accepting applications for a HEAT Compliance Editor. The HEAT Compliance Editor will be responsible for auditing HEAT utility assistance applications, monitoring reports, and assisting in other program areas. This is a part-time (25-29 hrs.), seasonal position located in Creekside.

(Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30am-1:30pm or 2:00pm-7:00pm)
Primary Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for auditing HEAT utility assistance applications to guarantee adherence to Federal, State, and Utah Community Action policies. Must monitor reports to ensure services are provided in a timely manner within compliance guidelines. May be asked to assist in other program areas, such as eligibility, community outreach, and mentoring.

Proficient with various internet and computer applications

Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Ability to use good judgment in a fast-paced environment
Ability to relate to clients from all socio-economic, ethnic and racial backgrounds with a Trauma-Informed approach

Knowledge of community resources, agencies and referral procedures
Ability to work with community partners and represent the agency with professionalism
Excellent use of English, both spoken and written

Desired Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred MS Office experience preferred. Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish or Arabic).
