Job Summary: We help people build lives of meaning, purpose and recovery. We are currently hiring for a Peer Support Specialist. The Peer Support Specialist provides a variety of targeted services with residential patients ranging from general patient support to developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans. This role requires strong collaborative skills, as Peer Support Specialists work with various teams, including treatment teams and client advocate staff. Primary Responsibilities: Performing initial and ongoing wellness recovery planning, in collaboration with the client and the treatment team.

Assisting support staff in managing the social environment during evening hours, including behavior management, client de-escalation, on-call support, and assistance in emergency medical situations.

Providing peer-based support and motivation to program participants.

Providing support to clinical staff, in being familiar with the core modalities (REBT, MRT, and MI) used in FSH programming.

Communicating treatment needs, as possibly identified during regular wellness recovery planning sessions, to the clinical and case management teams.

Rate of pay is $14.00 - $16.00 p/hour depending on experience.

This position will work Tuesday Saturday from 2:00 PM 10:00 PM.
