Salary: $10-$12 an hour
Job Description: Summary:

This position enhances the museum experience by assisting set up for events as needed in the hospitality department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sets up and tears down all events according to Banquet Event Orders and Event Floor Plan.
• Arrange tables, chairs, etc. for meetings, meal functions, and special events according to the Banquet Event Orders.
• Cleans used event space and event equipment and store it properly.
• Sweep/mop floor space after event
• Place exhibits back to standard operation after event.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
• Requires no specific knowledge of the job.
• Must be able to follow a map in setting up or taking down event equipment.
• Follow-up skills of tasks and assignments, and must have strong attention to detail.

Training and Experience Requirements:
-0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Work Schedule:
-Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on event needs.
-Schedules are never steady or set. This is an on-call position.

Working Conditions:
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
