Salary: $50,000-$55,000 per year
Job Description: We are currently seeking to hire a Therapist who will work for our new REACH program, which stands for Recovery, Engagement, Assessment, Career Development, and Housing. This is an exciting, unique opportunity to provide evidence-based services to criminal justice involved people who have substance use disorders. The overall goal of this program is to reduce recidivism and help people attain long-term recovery. REACH therapists will provide a full spectrum of clinical services including treatment that addresses criminogenic factors, recovery services, mental health therapy, and case management.

Providing high quality clinical services to fidelity
Holding clear boundaries while building and maintain therapeutic alliance
Working within the framework of the program, specifically providing services that address criminogenic risk factors
Performing initial and ongoing treatment planning in collaboration with the client and the treatment team
Providing services using the modalities of Motivational Interviewing and Moral Reconation Therapy to fidelity
Managing on-call duties for after-hours client support
Collaborating and consulting with supervisors, treatment-team members, Adult Probation and Parole, community partners and other relevant parties concerning clinical issues.

A Master’s degree and an active license in the State of Utah as a clinical mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist or social worker is required.
Experience in the criminal justice and substance use disorder fields is preferred
Strong analytical, writing, problem solving and communication skills
