Salary: Compensation $12-15 per
Job Description: The ESLC is a community-based non-profit organization committed to bringing the promise of integration, security, and empowerment to adult immigrants and refugees in Salt Lake City, Utah. We provide free English as a second language classes in community locations throughout Salt Lake County. The Data Coordinator will work with the ESLC Program Coordinators to ensure the successful management of ESLC student data, including demographics, enrollment, instructional and assessment activities for each program.
Responsibilities:
• Database Management
o Enter all relevant site, class, and student information into ETO (Efforts to Outcomes) database in a timely manner
o Enter all student information from intake sheet into ESLC's database in a timely manner
o Create new student and volunteer files;
o Maintain student files: Conduct monthly internal audits to maintain consistency and quality of data collection and provide oversight of the ETO database
o Purge inactive students from records and dispose of files in accordance with generally accepted file management practices
o Reconcile student files against in-house database and ETO annually
o Annually review all student files to remove inactive and verify active students. Roll over data into new program year records
• Data Reports
o Assist with compiling reports and data extraction for monthly, quarterly, and annual report to grant funders;
o Track students status by funders
o Track students’ attendance and testing needs, follow up on non-attending students, and contact students who need to be tested;
o Maintain student student files: Conduct monthly internal audits to maintain consistency and quality of data collection and provide oversight of the ETO database
• Coordination
o Notify coordinators when new students are enrolled in their program
o Attend and participate in discussions during semi-weekly staff meeting as well as weekly Coordinator Meeting;
o Respond to program data needs as requested

Minimum Qualifications:
• An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Above average ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse individuals
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with a team
• Ability to work with limited supervision at times
• Proficiency with data manipulation in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
• Experience with data management
Hours/Compensation: 20 hours per week. hour based on qualifications.
