Job Description: Overview
The Polizzi Clinic provides critical services to low income individuals improving their mental health so they are able to work and support their families, and contribute to their communities. Our long term goal is to improve individual’s overall mental health thereby decreasing health-related poverty and homelessness in our community.

The clinic is the only resource for full outpatient psychiatric care at no cost for any low-income, uninsured Utahn struggling with serious mental illness. Medication management services are designed to establish diagnoses quickly, stabilize symptoms within six to eight visits, and then transition the patient to primary care for maintenance at an affordable health clinic.

• Manage and oversee patient and provider scheduling
• Coordinate and oversee translation and general office volunteers
• Maintain adequate program and office supplies
• Maintain patient files
• Submit medical record requests, as requested
• Fulfill external patient communications (updates, medical record requests, etc.)
• Ensure patient reminder calls are made and oversee process
• Oversee janitorial (daily and weekly cleaning and supply)
• Maintain patient demographics and outcomes database
• Support patient paperwork adjustments
• Ensure patients are eligible for services
• Help patients enroll in and maintain medication assistance applications

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate verbally as well as in writing.
• Computer skills (email, word processing, and spreadsheets).
• Fluent in Spanish and English

Physical Requirements
Carrying, Climbing, Color Determination, Far Vision, Lifting, Listening, Manual Dexterity, Near Vision, Pulling and/or Pushing, Reaching, Sitting, Speaking, Standing, Stooping and Crouching, Tasting or Smelling, Walking

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year clerical experience
• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Part-time 26 hours per week, day shift. Some evenings may be required.
