Salary: $300-500/wk
Job Description: CCYC is now hiring Crew Leaders for our current season! If you’re interested in camping and working in beautiful places while leading high school age and young adults in conservation activities on the Colorado Plateau then this job is for you! You’ll be building trails, fences, removing invasive species (with chainsaws), restoring grasslands, doing fuel reduction, and various other tasks assigned by our service partners. You’ll be able to network with people in the field who work with the National Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and others. You’ll be leading a crew of 8 with a co-leader in remote locations in the Four Corners region. The season will run from now until October 31st, 2017. Upon successful completion of your season you may be eligible for an education award from AmeriCorps. Must be an avid outdoorsman/woman, and have prior leadership experience. Must be ages 18-25 and have a clean driving record, as well as pass a criminal history check.
