Job Summary: The Client Support Specialist will work under the direction of Agency Administration in performing general clerical and reception responsibilities and will assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for the Immigration Department.
Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities:
• Serves as a member of HCM staff committed to fulfilling the mission of HCM serving clients, volunteers, and each other in an atmosphere of hospitality which is characterized by cooperation and a positive, respectful relationship with all individuals
• Collects fees from clients for program services
• Sorts and distributes mail
• Organizes and orders office supplies as requested
• Performs ad-hoc clerical projects for Agency Administration
• Assists the Immigration Department with scheduling and coordinating client appointments
• Helps maintain updated and organized Immigration Department files
• Triages client calls to appropriate Agency Programs
• Performs other duties as assigned by Agency Administration
Desired Qualifications: Requirements:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in various technology solutions such as Microsoft Office Suite, Video Conferencing, General Computer Skills, etc.
• Written and spoken fluency in both English and Spanish
• Previous experience in reception and general office management is preferred
