Job Summary: HOUSE OF HOPE IS AN ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATION AND WILL NOT CLOSE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. As a substance use treatment facility, we are critical to the public health and safety of women and children throughout Utah. We are looking for dependable workers dedicated to rebuilding lives, strengthening families, and empowering women even during difficult times. House of Hope is dedicated to health and safety of our employees. We endeavor to provide all preventative safety measures and establish strict sanitation protocols in accordance to the Utah Department of Health.

House of Hope is currently seeking an HR Assistant to help us maintain our policies, procedures, and personnel files to ensure we meet all licensure requirements. We are looking for someone who can help us get organized and recruit wonderful people to be a part of our team.
Primary Responsibilities: See if these primary duties match your interest:
-Recruiting new employees via posting job ads online, attending job fairs, etc.
-Providing new employee onboarding orientation and initiating background screenings
-Maintaining and auditing personnel files to meet licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications: We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
-Friendly and engaging with professional communication styles
-Excellent time management and organization skills
-Assertive and can take initiative when faced with problems
-Dependable with a strong work ethic
-Not afraid to take the ball and run with it

Agency Requirements:
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 3 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.
Benefits / Why Work for Us: Wage: $12.00/hour; 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.

Hours: 28 hours/week, Monday – Friday 11:30am – 5:00pm

House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing addiction recovery and behavioral health services to help women rebuild their lives and strengthen their families at seven facilities in SLC and Provo.
